I really enjoyed the author's "Ethics". I had never thought much of Spinoza, I mean, his definition of love and hate, as well as all other "active" emotions were pretty awesome, but I had always thought of him as "that other rationalist guy", the "guy who's like Descartes only he's not", etc...I'm loving it.
When people think of the Enlightenment, too often they think of Kant and Hume.
