I had no idea that the very manly guy I've seen in "The Martian" and "2012" among others could sing, dance and play a very convincing role as a drag queen entertainer. The quality of the menu screens look cheap and poor quality, as though they're a bootleg. This is a 'happy' film. If you want a good laugh for any generation then you need to watch this film. The first hour is fantastic, from Charlie's meet-cute with Lola, and the trio of Charlie, Lola, and spunky Lauren finding the clue to save the shoe factory: kinky boots.

I tried two different discs (returned the first and now returning the second). This was a very entertaining movie. A real feel-good film that features a stunning cast. First saw this film on Netflix. Great film about a young man who inherits his father's shoe factory in Northampton and then discovers that the business is in debt. Buy it, enjoy it, this is a wonderful film based on a true story.
