I am thinking about getting the Topstone, but I am kinda worrying about the reliability of the flexing points, will they break earlier than other, stiffer, carbon frames? "Flexing carbon" sounds like an injury waiting to happen. So it will be interesting to see how much compliance the aluminum floating seat stay could provide compared to the previous ALU model, and more interestingly, the previous carbon model... Maybe the only way to find this out is to try them both... My own opinion here still is go for the carbon models, old or new. I had the same struggle but now I'll definitely go with the carbon ones, it's a whole new experience and you won't look back.
