That being said, I thought it important to write my review as I saw some negative reviews of the Beach Hotel, and I can't disagree more. It was so windy one day that the beach was closed, and on another day it was open but had warnings posted about choppy conditions. The relaxed atmosphere of the Beach Tower at Atlantis makes it easy to enjoy the carefree, come-as-you-are Caribbean spirit. It wasn't the best, but it was really good and we each found a lot of things we enjoyed. Communication about that isn't great, and I know disappointing to many. Although there is lots to see and do.
That lazy river, not the current, but true lazy river, is a 20 minute great ride for kids, often more empty, plus safe enough to get out of the tube if you trust the company you are with swimming-ability wise. Just steps from your door, you'll find plenty of family fun, including pristine white-sand beaches with crystal-blue water and dozens of swimming areas, all from Atlantis' most affordable accommodations. No matter what beach you choose, you will find fine sand and a spectacular vista of azure water waiting for you.
We went in that day, but the waves really were strong. Barefoot and carefree, The Beach at Atlantis is literally all about the beach itself. Every beach at Atlantis has its own allure and charm. After booking, all of the property’s details, including telephone and address, are provided in your booking confirmation and your account. It was loud, but we loved it (other groups may not). We had already paid in full, but to account for damages, they ask for either $125 per night on a credit card or $250 cash total. Some reviews claim that The Beach is such a far walk from the rest of the resort, but we didn't find that to be the case at all. Our room was very comfortable.
