The food was genuinely some of the best I have had the chance to experience - often with high end meals you end up with tiny morsels meaning that one goes hungry - that was not the case here as Pierre gives hearty portions.

The dining room offers delicious dishes facing the Ocean. Juste pour la bouffe je referais le voyage du Canada. They'll find you an incredible place to stay.There are more places to choose from in the Silhouette Island area.The mixture of gastro and creole food is really tasty and original. We can`t describe how good it was. It was wonderful!!! After a day or exploring, snorkeling or relaxing, one is treated to simply delicious cuisine worthy of any top restaurant in the world. Pierre and his wife Aurore have done extensive work on the hotel and turned it into a place of ultimate relaxation. Silhouette Island is located 45 minutes from Mahé by boat and is the third island of the Seychelles archipelago.
As there are only several rooms (not a huge resort) the hotel is very quiet and has that remote island feeling that it should do on Silhouette Island (I also stayed one night in the Hilton which was loud, huge, and could have been anywhere). The island is barely populated and the exclusivity of La Belle Tortue is truly special. And that is precisely why we are able to offer you such a rare and exclusive experience.
